1) Information We Collect

• Account & Profile: name, role (student/parent/teacher/staff), school/organization, class/section, contact details (e.g., phone/email).
• Authentication: mobile number or email for OTP login; tokens/identifiers to keep you signed in.
• Academic Data: timetable, homework, attendance, exam schedules/results, messages/announcements.
• Files & Media: documents, images, assignments you upload or preview (stored in our secure cloud storage).
• Device & Usage: app version, device model, OS version, crash logs, and basic analytics to improve stability and performance.
• Notifications: a push notification token to deliver alerts (attendance, homework, announcements, etc.).

2) How We Use Information

• Provide core features (login, timetable, homework, attendance, exams, messaging, file uploads/downloads).
• Send OTPs, important service messages, and optional notifications you enable.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud/abuse, debug issues, and improve the app.
• Comply with legal obligations and school/organization policies.

3) What We Don’t Do

• No selling of your personal information.
• No sharing for third-party advertising.

4) Sharing & Transfers

• Your School/Organization: authorized admins/teachers may view the data required to operate school services.
• Service Providers: secure cloud/infra and analytics/crash reporting (e.g., Google Play services, Firebase/Crashlytics) under data-processing terms.
• Legal: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.

5) Permissions We May Request

• Notifications: to deliver updates and alerts.
• Storage/Photos/Media/Documents: to let you upload or download files.
• Camera: for scanning or capturing assignment/ID images (if you use those features).
• Network: to connect to school services and cloud storage.

You can manage permissions in Android settings; some features may not work without them.

6) Children’s Privacy

The app may be used by or on behalf of students under 18 under the direction of their school/parents/guardians. We process student data solely to provide educational services to the school and its community. If you believe a child’s data has been provided without authorization, please contact us at deepaksruya@visiona2z.com.

7) Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your school/organization maintains an active account or as required for legitimate business and legal purposes. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

8) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve our protections.

9) Your Rights & Choices

• Access, correct, or delete your information (often via your school admin or in-app settings).
• Opt in/out of certain notifications.
• Request data export or deletion by emailing {{PRIVACY_EMAIL}}.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, India’s DPDP Act, or CCPA/CPRA. We honor verified requests consistent with applicable law and our role as a processor for schools.

10) International Processing

Data may be processed or stored in data centers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses) to protect your information.

11) Third-Party Services

Our app may include SDKs or links to third-party services (e.g., Google Play services, Firebase, Crashlytics). Their use is governed by their own privacy policies. We limit data shared to what’s necessary for the app to function and improve reliability.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by other means.
